ABOUT BUZZ

BUZZ is a Budapest-based post-rock trio formed in 2019. Their music is characterized by transcending the boundaries of conventional musical styles, alternating between soaring and pulsating, tingling instrumental themes.

 

They view their compositions as complex narratives, each telling a different story, yet leaving the interpretation up to the listener.

 

With their debut single "Valium" released in 2020, they became one of the rising stars in the Hungarian post-rock scene, later gaining recognition internationally. The song "Inside" from the single was played on radios in Chile, Canada, Belgium, and Germany, and their first EP containing three songs was mentioned as one of the most important releases of the year by Hungarian music magazines.

 

Their full-length album "Blissful Dystopia," released at the end of 2022, containing nine tracks blending post-rock and psychedelic rock elements, featured one song on the Best of 2022 list by WherePostRockDwells, one of the most prestigious distributors in the genre, alongside tracks by renowned bands such as Oh Hiroshima, My Sleeping Karma, Russian Circles, Toundra, MONO, and Lost in Kiev.

 

With their upcoming EP to be released in the first half of 2024, they invite listeners to an even more exceptional musical experience with boldly experimental tracks.
